Course Overview
This self-guided course, Narrating Impact: A Framework for Crafting Personal & Organizational Stories, is designed to help individuals and organizations harness the power of their stories. Leveraging 15 years of Storytellers for Change’s experience collaborating with cross-sector organizations and changemakers, this course provides a comprehensive framework to identify, craft, and share compelling stories. Whether you want to build a personal narrative or shape your organization’s storytelling, this course offers a versatile framework to achieve impactful storytelling.
Key Elements of the Course:
- Identifying Your Story: Participants will explore methods to uncover and harvest meaningful stories from their experiences, values, and goals. This section helps clarify the core message and purpose behind the narrative.
- Crafting Your Story: Learn storytelling techniques that bring your stories to life. This includes exploring the core elements of narrative, such as structure, setting, and characters.
- Sharing Your Story: Participants develop stories that they can immediately share within their contexts. You’ll also practice sharing your story to refine your storytelling skills in the course.
By the end of the course, participants will have the tools and confidence to create narratives that reflect their authentic voice, are rooted in the foundations of impactful storytelling, and inspire action.
