About the Course
Overview
This 10-week online cohort program is for anyone who wants to learn how to identify, craft, and share stories to inspire action. Whether you are interested in developing your own story, crafting a story for a project, or learning storytelling activities to facilitate workshops, this comprehensive online cohort program is ideal for you. Fall 2022 Cohort Dates: 2nd week of September through 2nd week of November.
By purchasing this course, you will have access to:
- A comprehensive self-paced online course - This course covers all the key concepts and storytelling framework we’ll discuss during the cohort. Once you sign up for the course, you’ll be able to access the content for six months.
- Four Storytelling Toolkits - We designed these toolkits to help you to develop your story, facilitate workshops, or create new storytelling projects.
- Ten Virtual Workshops - In these weekly workshops, you can ask questions and engage in dialogues with your cohort peers and instructors. Workshops take place in Zoom, and participation is optional. Workshops are every Thursday at 3:00 PM PT and 6:00 PM PT.

Ongoing Learning & Building Community- Once you sign up for the course, you’ll join our community of storytellers and be invited to members-only webinars, workshops, and networking gatherings.

The Cohort Curriculum
Meet Your Instructors
This course was co-curated by Luis Ortega from Storytellers for Change and Domonique Meeks from Ambassador Stories.
Luis (he/him/they/them) is a multidisciplinary storyteller, facilitator, educator, and the founder and Director of Storytellers for Change. Domonique (he/him) is a data scientist, digital storyteller, and the co-founder and Creative Director at Ambassador Stories.
Together, Domonique and Luis bring over 40 years of storytelling experience across various mediums including biographical storytelling, oral histories, keynote presentations, narrative strategy, podcasting, digital storytelling, facilitation, and visual storytelling.

Economic Justice: Each quarter we offer a limited number of scholarships and discounted rates for youth, grassroots non-profits, and professionals who have limited access to funding to support their leadership development.
